Slow Cooked Beef Bourguignon

Crockpot Beef Bourguignon

Bring a bit of French elegance to your fall dinners with this classic Beef Bourguignon. The slow cooker makes it easy to create tender beef, mushrooms, carrots, and onions in a rich sauce.

Ingredients:

  • 1 lb beef stew meat, cubed

  • 4 carrots, sliced

  • 1 onion, chopped

  • 1 cup mushrooms, sliced

  • 4 cups beef broth

  • 2 tbsp tomato paste

  • 2 garlic cloves, minced

  • 1 bay leaf

  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions:

  1. Brown the Beef
    In a skillet, brown the beef on all sides, then transfer to the crockpot.

  2. Add Ingredients
    Add carrots, onion, mushrooms, beef broth, tomato paste, garlic, bay leaf, salt, and pepper.

  3. Cook
    Cook on low for 8-9 hours or high for 5-6 hours until the beef is tender.

  4. Serve
    Serve over mashed potatoes or egg noodles for a truly luxurious meal.
