Slow Cooked Beef Stroganoff

Beef Stroganoff

Few meals bring as much cozy comfort as Beef Stroganoff. Let the crockpot do the work, cooking tender beef, mushrooms, and onions in a creamy sauce. Serve it over egg noodles or mashed potatoes for a rich, satisfying dinner that’ll warm you right up.

Ingredients:

  • 1 lb beef stew meat, cubed

  • 1 onion, chopped

  • 8 oz mushrooms, sliced

  • 3 cups beef broth

  • 2 tbsp Worcestershire sauce

  • 1 tsp Dijon mustard

  • 1/2 cup sour cream

  • Egg noodles or mashed potatoes, for serving

Instructions:

  1. Brown the Beef
    Brown the beef in a skillet for a few minutes, then transfer it to the crockpot.

  2. Add Ingredients
    Add the onion, mushrooms, beef broth, Worcestershire sauce, and Dijon mustard.

  3. Cook
    Cook on low for 7-8 hours or high for 4-5 hours until the beef is tender.

  4. Finish with Sour Cream
    Stir in the sour cream and cook for another 15 minutes until the sauce is creamy and smooth.

  5. Serve
    Serve over egg noodles or mashed potatoes for the ultimate comfort food.
