Want to put a seasonal spin on your usual chili? This Pumpkin Turkey Chili is the answer. Pumpkin puree adds a subtle sweetness that pairs perfectly with the spices in the chili, making it a fun and delicious fall dish. The best part? It’s healthy and packed with flavor.

Ingredients:

  • 1 lb ground turkey

  • 1 can (15 oz) pumpkin puree

  • 1 can (15 oz) black beans, drained

  • 1 can (15 oz) diced tomatoes

  • 1 onion, chopped

  • 1 bell pepper, chopped

  • 2 garlic cloves, minced

  • 1 tbsp chili powder

  • 1 tsp cumin

  • 1/2 tsp cinnamon

  • Salt and pepper to taste

  • 4 cups chicken or vegetable broth

Instructions:

  1. Brown the Turkey
    In a skillet, brown the ground turkey, then transfer to the crockpot.

  2. Combine Ingredients
    Add the black beans, pumpkin puree, diced tomatoes, onion, bell pepper, garlic, chili powder, cumin, cinnamon, salt, and pepper to the crockpot.

  3. Cook
    Stir everything together, pour in the broth, and cook on low for 6-7 hours or high for 3-4 hours.

  4. Serve
    Serve the chili hot, garnished with a dollop of sour cream, shredded cheese, or chopped cilantro.
